I have always had a great affinity with the English language, and it is no wonder that our story began in my childhood.
During my years of study, I gained a lot of experience: I graduated from an English school in Brazil, attended high school and even studied English for foreigners in the United States. However, it was when I started my classes with a great teacher – today, a dear friend Zé Nelson, currently the Principal of a high school in Oregon – USA – that I rediscovered this language, which was already so familiar to me.
With it, I refined my understanding of English as a whole, I became more attentive to its grammatical structure, trying to understand its “whys” and shopify website design identifying the subtleties present in its pronunciation. Above all, I learned how important it is to establish a rhythm in your studies to accelerate your performance and achieve a good performance!
It's amazing to see the fruits we reap when we give ourselves over with determination!
That's why I usually ask my students to approach the course with purpose and with the same determination they put into an MBA, for example. I say this mainly to those who can't stand studying English anymore and to those who have returned to the Intermediate level after interrupting classes several times in different schools.
A focused student, who studies systematically on a daily basis, becomes stronger in the language and arrives at class more receptive to new content.
Furthermore, over time, you feel more secure and confident when communicating, which in itself is a great incentive to study (and learn!) more and more.
After almost 30 years of Essential, I can safely say that there is no big secret: those who study, learn.
It is your determination that makes you successful in everything you set out to do. Dedicate yourself to this achievement.
